Abstract

This research aims to discuss forms of assessment in Islamic Guidance and Counseling based on a literature review. The research method used is library research, by collecting and analyzing various relevant library sources, such as books, scientific journals, research articles. The results of the study show that the form of assessment in Islamic guidance and counseling includes two forms, namely test assessment and non-test assessment. Assessment tests include intelligence tests, personality tests, interest tests, talent tests. Meanwhile, non-test assessments include observations, interviews, questionnaires, problem disclosure tools, and problem checklists. It is necessary to implement assessments in the counseling process to make it easier for counselors to identify the source of the client's initial problems. The choice of assessment is determined according to the problems experienced by the client. Thus, assessment becomes an important basis for counselors in understanding the client's condition more comprehensively as a basis for planning and implementing counseling services.
