Journal of Communication and Da’wah
The Journal of Communication and Da’wah warmly invites scholars, researchers, lecturers, postgraduate students, and practitioners to submit their best and original scholarly manuscripts for publication. We welcome contributions that address current issues, provide theoretical insights, and offer practical solutions in the fields of Islamic da’wah, communication, and contemporary Islamic studies.
Every submission will undergo a rigorous editorial and peer review process, ensuring that only high-quality research is published. Manuscripts will first be evaluated through initial editorial screening for relevance to CJDC’s focus and scope, followed by double-blind peer review by at least two experts in the respective field.
Preferred Topics Submissions are encouraged, but not limited to, the following themes:

Theories and Practices of Da’wah: Classical and contemporary approaches, strategies of da’wah (bil lisan, bil qalam, bil hal, and bil hikmah), and comparative studies.

Islamic Communication: Interpersonal, organizational, mass, and intercultural communication within an Islamic framework and ethics.

Da’wah Media and Technology: Digital and social media tools, AI-based communication, digital literacy, and online da’wah strategies.

Islamic Journalism and Broadcasting: Ethics in journalism, da’wah-oriented broadcasting (TV, Radio, Podcast), and content analysis.

Rhetoric and Public Communication: Persuasion techniques, public speaking, religious diplomacy, and interfaith contexts.

Da’wah Education and Pesantren Studies: Pedagogy for da’wah, the role of Pesantren in community development, and media studies integration.

Interdisciplinary Da’wah and Globalization: Religious moderation, tolerance, and da’wah in transnational contexts.

Social Innovation and Community Empowerment: Da’wah-based models for social change and development communication.

Submission Guidelines Authors are required to submit their manuscripts exclusively through Journal of Communication and Da’wah official OJS (Open Journal Systems) submission platform. Detailed author guidelines, formatting requirements, and policies on ethics, plagiarism screening, and APC (Article Processing Charges) can be found on the journal’s website.
All accepted and published articles will be made available under full open access, ensuring that they are freely accessible to researchers, students, and practitioners worldwide, thereby supporting the global exchange of knowledge in the field of Islamic da’wah and communication.
